No time for breakfast? Think again!

This easy breakfast is the best idea since sliced bread. I totally get that sometimes we don’t have time to actually sit down and have a hot meal, especially when everyone running in different directions first thing in the morning.

I have heard over and over again that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. To be honest, this breakfast is way too easy to skip. It is the perfect grab and go food that combines all the best breakfast food in one little package consisting of more food!

You could buy a tray of  breakfast-ables that have a some grapes, a few crackers, and a hard boiled egg in it. However,  it probably has a shelf life of about 3 weeks.

Isn’t’ something fresh a better way to roll?

The answer to that is YES. Now, I am not going to say that my kids would have eaten this breakfast every day of the year because they love having choices but this is definitely something that would have been a regular on the menu.

This is what Natalie has to say about this fast food from home recipe.

Our oldest is obsessed with french toast. He requests it on an almost daily basis. Our youngest would rather eat eggs and sausage. But like many of you, our mornings are rushed and I don’t always have time to make a big hearty breakfast. So this was my solution. Quick, easy and surprisingly tasty!

Quick Tip..You can also use turkey sausage.

Easy Enough For a Monkey TO Make!

Have you ever had a time when someone asked if they could come over for a quick cup of coffee? While it is easy to get the coffee on and cups ready, it is still nice to have a little something to go with it. I mean I guess you could just scoop some peanuts in a bowl and call it good, but wouldn’t it be nice to have something just coming out of the oven?

Chances are you might even have these ingredients already in the fridge. If not, go ahead and stock up because you never know when a little snack would be nice.

The other big bonus to this recipe is that you can eat it with your fingers! So even little snackers will love this.

For our granddaughters birthday I bought her a little tea set. We have had so much fun pouring water from the kettle to the tiny cups. It came with saucers and small dessert plates so I think the next time I visit I will have to whip up a batch of these. She is going to love it and just hearing her say the word banana makes me smile.

This is what Abbey from The Cards We Drew has to say about this fun filled recipe.

I have an amazingly simple cheesecake recipe that I thought I’d turn into a fun little dessert. You can use those ripened bananas and turn them into delicious Banana Cheesecake Rollups. They are WONDERFUL with a cup of coffee or as a great brunch recipe!!

Quick Tip: Put a little spoonful of Nutella in the cream cheese for that chocolaty flavor your family will go nuts over!

At the end of a toothpick these are a tiny taste of Heaven (insert sigh here).

Don’t you hate it when you are asked to bring finger food and you draw a blank. Quickly you run down the list of things you usually take to the party, or gathering and always come up with the same three things.

Veggie dip and a bag of mini carrots, chips and bean dip, or a watermelon. Yeah, I know that is lame, but obviously I am not the only one who gets stumped seeing that we had five people bring sliced watermelon to the last family reunion.

Int eh time it actually takes to cut up a watermelon, and trust me on this, I am pretty darned good at that, you could have these little beefy nuggets in the crock-pot and turned on.

The secret isn’t in the three simple ingredients. It is in the time you give it to soak and saturate in the slow cooker or crock pot depending where you are from.

After 3 hours your family and friends will start forming a line, toothpicks in hand, and offer to see if these meatballs are done. That my friend is when you know you have reached appetizer greatness.

This is what Nicole of Salty Marshmallows has to say about this recipe.

Who came up with the idea to mix chili sauce and grape jelly together and then toss it over some meatballs? I remember these being served at any and every single party I attended growing up.Church gatherings, family potlucks, baby showers…..they’re everywhere!

GO TO THE NEXT PAGE FOR INGREDIENTS ANS DIRECTIONS.

Quick Tip: Have a recipe for meatballs that you LOVE and can’t live without, feel free to go ahead and make them. It might not be the same since they are not frozen but if you are short on time go ahead and put the ingredients in a sauce pan and let them simmer over low heat for about 20 minutes.

Why yes, I would like S’MORE!

What is it about the taste of S’Mores? Is it the goey melted marshmallows and chocolate? The thought of spending time around the campfire with those you love? OR could it just be the fact that it is one of those tastes that takes you back to your childhood?

Pretty sure it is all the above.

Growing up in a family who loved to camp, my mom would have never thought to pack up the old Suburban if we didn’t have S’more Fixings.

Aaah the glow of marshmallows becoming little torches under the starlit sky!

Totally awesome that this little treat doesn’t require any fire, mosquito spray, or sleeping outside.

You can make this version of a campfire treat and serve it at your next family get together or your kids’ slumber party.

And the clean-up? Super easy breezy

This is what Chrisy of Homemade Hooplah has to say about this fun dip.

“Fluffy marshmallow and chocolate dips are swirled together to make this easy and fun chilled party dip. No heating or melting required!”

GO TO THE NEXT PAGE FOR INGREDIENTS AND DIRECTIONS.

Quick Tip: If you are serving this outside go ahead and put a small spoonful in the bottom of a plastic or paper cup and stick 4 graham cracker rectangles into it so it is portable.

Sometimes you just need a little TWIST.

Our family loves pizza. Especially homemade pizza! And they love hot from the oven breadsticks  that they can dip into spicy marinara sauce. This recipe combines both of those family favorites into one flavor bursting finger food that is sure to please everyone.

I love that you can buy pizza crust dough, but there is also frozen dough that works as well and might be a bit more cost effective.

Of course homemade dough is always an option! When I make pizza crust or breadsticks I add some fresh snips of rosemary and a few crushed cloves of garlic.

Yikes! I am making myself hungry just thinking about it!

The fun part of this recipe is that you can add your favorite pizza toppings such as olives and bell pepper.

Go ahead, get a creative! I can hear your fans cheering right now!

This is what The Weary Chef has to say about this recipe.

These little sticks of heaven are made using frozen bread dough and are pretty easy and very fun to make. They have gameday snack, party food, or even pizza night dinner written all over them!

GO TO NEXT THE PAGE FOR INGREDIENTS AND DIRECTIONS.

Quick Tip: If using frozen dough, make sure to set out in plenty of time to thaw by setting in refrigerator for 24 hours prior to using.
