So Simple It will Drive You Bananas..Literally!

I love that these have bananas in them. I have seen the same type of roll up with peaches but to be honest, that is kind of limiting since peach season is fairly short. Bananas on the other hand are always available.

Banana Cheesecake Roll-ups

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 3/4 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 2 cans of crescent rolls

Topping:

  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1 stick of butter

Directions:

  1. Combine cream cheese, sugar and vanilla in a bowl and mix on high.
  2. Unroll crescent rolls and take your first corner. Starting at the largest end, add a tablespoon of cheesecake mixture.
  3. Sprinkle some brown sugar on top, then add a half of banana on top.
  4. Tuck the edges over top of the banana and then roll-up. It will kind of look like a sleeping bag!
  5. Repeat this until you’ve used up all the pieces of crescent roll. Then start to prepare your topping.
  6. Melt your butter and then add sugar and gently stir.
  7. Spoon topping over top of your roll-ups until nicely covered.
  8. Bake in oven for 15-18 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Once baked, sprinkle some powdered sugar over top and serve warm.

Quick Tip: You can always cut this recipe in half for a smaller batch.
