Every single layer is totally amazing. Put all three together and this will knock your socks off!

Ever have those days when you could really go for something absolutely amazing? I love that these bars don’t even require an oven to make! Three layers of absolute mint and chocolate bliss.

I LOVE mint. Just unwrapping a small rectangle foil off an of Andes mint is a soothing experience that reminds me of going out to dinner at a steakhouses when I first got married. Andes mints always came with the check.

It has been years since I thought of those little treats, but seeing this yummy easy to make dessert brought back some memories.

Isn’t it great that you don;t have to make a reservation and go to a steak house to recapture the flavor of those melt in your mouth chocolate covered mints?

This dessert is super easy to make. Hello? Only twenty minutes!  And it makes a small pan, but since I noticed that this can be frozen for a few months. This can easily be made a few batches at a time.  Next time there is an event with a lot of people. BAM! Dessert is ready without any mess!

Baby shower? Wedding shower? Make sure to make these simple to make, beautiful to serve, and fantastic flavors that people will definitely be talking about long after the party is over!

This is what Ashley of The Recipe Critic

The husband and I love the mint chocolate combo. We disagree on our share of things, but generally dessert is not one of those things. Unless it’s pumpkin — then he’s all in and I’m on the edge somewhere.

GO TO THE NEXT PAGE FOR INGREDIENTS AND DIRECTIONS.

Quick Tip: My son isn’t the biggest fan of coconut, so feel free to leave that out of this minty chocolate recipe. Face it, there is a heck of a lot going on already with all the flavors.

This is the cookie recipe that actually shut the internet down because of traffic.

I love the taste of coconut. Growing up the only time we really ate coconut was when my mom would bake German Chocolate cake. Ohh my goodness that brings back such amazing childhood memories. Probably because it was my Dad’s favorite cake in the world so we usually had it for his Birthday or another family celebration.

Crazy thing is my dad can not stand coconut with the exception of classic German Chocolate Cake frosting. So macaroons were not something my mom ever baked.

But once I grew up and had kitchen of my own, I realized that there were a few recipes I had never really attempted before.

One of our daughters loved coconut and one day we decided to make a batch of macaroons, They were a bit flat, but for a first attempt the flavor was spot on.

This is what Trish has to say about her cookie recipe.

One of my all-time favorite coconut indulgences is coconut macaroons. These are for the true coconut lover. The best coconut macaroons are beautifully toasted on the outside and sweet and chewy in the center. I can’t stand a dry macaroon!

GO TO THE NEXT PAGE FOR INGREDIENTS AND  DIRECTIONS.

Quick Tip: I don’t know if this is true or not, but my great Grandmother suggested not baking something like these of making candy on a day that was overcast or humid. That might have been why my first batch were flat!

No need to wait for the Girl Scouts to set up their table outside a grocery store or knock on your door.

You can have the wonderful taste of the Samoa Cookies anytime you want with this “to-die-for” recipe.

What a commitment! I mean those little girls in the cute green outfits and decorated sashes are really serious about sales. And we are not talking about cashing in on a few crumbs.

Revenue from the sales of Girl Scout cookies has been around $700 million since 1999.

You go Girl Scouts!  Way to learn some valuable sales skills, as well as make a whole lotta people happy!

People look forward to their cookies all year and for good reason. They are amazingly memorable.

Just like this dessert.

This is what Alyssa of the Recipe Critic has to say about this creative recipe.

A chocolate Oreo crust with creamy cheesecake in the center and topped with coconut caramel and drizzled in chocolate.  All of the things that you love in a Samoa Cookie in a delicious cheesecake dessert!

The aroma that fills the house will make you swoon. Seriously.

I had never cooked with curry very much, but after trying curry chicken I was hooked. I loved the tangy and savory taste that my family just couldn’t get enough of it.

I am not sure what it is about all the ingredients together but the chicken ends up like tender little morsels.

On a bed of rice, this meal is totally amazing. and when you add in some carrots and cauliflower to this dish you basically have a full meal!

Great for those nights when you are not sure when everyone is going to get home. Keep the chicken curry and sauce in a slow cooker on warm and the rice will be easy to keep warm as well.

This meal is hot, filling, and fairly easy on the budget which is nice when you are feeding a crowd or just making enough for several meals.

The greatest thing I love about this dish is being able to make extra and freeze half for later. This is also super amazing to take to work for your lunch break. Trust me on this, people will be jealous.

This is what Jennifer of  Once Apon a Chef says about this dish.

In this family-friendly Indian dish, thinly sliced chicken breasts are sautéed with curry powder and simmered in an aromatic, slightly sweet curry sauce thickened with Greek yogurt. You can have it on the table in 30 minutes — or in the time it takes to make some basmati rice

GO TO THE NEXT PAGE FOR INGREDIENTS AND DIRECTIONS.

Quick Tip:  I LOVE the flavor of coconut milk in this dish as well. If that is what you are accustomed to just replace 1/4 or 1/2 of the chicken broth with coconut milk.

Have you ever wondered what a cloud tasted like? Pretty sure this it it!

I love flying. Looking out the window and seeing the big fluffy clouds at eye level reminds me of gently spun cotton candy. I wonder what it would taste like..if clouds actually had flavor.
These cupcakes are so light and fluffy, don’t you think they at least look like a cloud?

The secret is in the cake flour. This recipe calls for flour and cornstarch ton be sifted together, but in reality, that is cake flour! I just discovered how to make cake flour earlier this year when I wanted to make a recipe that required that expensive ingredient that is usually purchased and after it has been used for the recipe sits in the back of the pantry collecting dust.

I also spent years wondering if cake flour really made that much difference in a recipe. Well, let me tell you straight up, IT DOES! I love that Samantha just incorporated the flour and corn starch in her recipe. But if you ever need cake flour for a recipe in the future, now you know how to make it yourself!

Coconut is such a delightful flavor. I love the fact that this recipe has Coconut milk in the ingredients. Next time you buy coconut milk..maybe for a curry recipe..pick up an extra can so you have it on hand. You never know when you might want to see what Heaven tastes like.

This is what Samantha has to say about her recipe.

I really try not to say that every recipe I share here is “the best.” But sometimes I just can’t help it…because it happens to be true. ? And if you like coconut cupcakes, the ones I’m bringing you today are, honestly, the best I’ve ever had. As a bonus, I happened to make them myself! While dirtying just one bowl! And guess what? You can, too!

GO TO THE NEXT PAGE FOR INGREDIENTS AND DIRECTIONS.

Quick Tip: For best results make sure the ingredients are at room temperature. You can always set you eggs in a bowl of warm water while you start pre-heating the oven.

Blue Ribbon Amish Recipe Right Here!

Growing up I loved the taste of coconut. Mound Bars were at the top of my list because of the yummy coconut flavor.

When my daughter went to Saipan for six months to visit my husband’s family who was living there at the time, one of the things that struck her was how the people on the island were able to scurry up the long straight trunks, like climbing a telephone pole, to pick the coconuts, or knock them to the ground.

My brother-in-law is from that Micronesia Island and Emma used to watch him cut the hard shell off the white glistening flesh of the coconut, then shred it for cooking.

I am not sure how much shredded coconut he would get from each one, but Emma said it was fun to watch and the flavor was something she would never forget.

This cake probably doesn’t come close to the fresh coconut taste, but let’s give it a whirl..and be thankful we didn’t have to climb any trees to get the ingredients :~)

This is what Alli of Tornadough Alli says about this scrumptious bread pudding.

You’d never actually believe how easy this stuff is to make. It’s pretty much like glorified french toast, well it pretty much is just french toast in casserole form. You do all the same dipping as you would in the typical version, but this stuff is baked and not fried! I’m not sure if I should qualify this as dessert or breakfast! All I know is that I could eat this all day!

GO TO THE NEXT PAGE FOR THE INGREDIENTS AND DIRECTIONS.

Quick Tip: If you want to add a few additional tropical flavors to this dish consider tossing in 1/4 cup diced dried pineapple or 1/2 cup diced mango. Mmm I am thinking this might be the perfect brunch showstopper right here!

Celebrate the warm days of summer. Sit in the shade and savor a real fruit treat.

Some of my favorite memories with are kids involve being together on long summer days. School was out, and being able to sleep in a bit, stay up late enough to watch the stars overhead in hope of wishing on one as it sped across the sky, disappearing before you could even point it out to the person sitting next to you.

We loved our big lawn. Sometimes the neighbor kids would join in a game of football or hide and seek. It was a lot of mowing, but even the smell of freshly mowed grass was savory. And then there was the sprinkler.

The one that sprayed tiny streams into the air, looking more like a curtain than actual water drips. The basic sprinkler would move on simple gears to the setting we had put it on. But, in our minds, it was always trying to tag us with its watery fingers. There were the times where the kids would squeal with delight as they ran and jumped to the other side.

Bathing suits dripping wet, they would sit outside while I ran in to pull popsicles out of the freezer.

While we used to just get the basic juice popsicles, I love that these are made with real fruit.

This is what Martyna of The Wholesome Cook says about her recipe.

Healthier than their ice cream counterparts they are low in fat and have no added sugar. To spice them up a little, I have added some coconut milk and ground cinnamon.

GO TO THE NEXT PAGE LINK FOR THE INGREDIENTS AND DIRECTIONS.

Quick Tip: If you have a few bananas feel free to add those to your popsicle mix instead of coconut milk.

The edible pineapple flowers are a real showstopper!

I am such a push-over for recipes. When my daughter-in-law, Roxanne, was visiting from Colorado, she introduced me to a show she and her mom had been watching called “The Great British Baking Show”.

It worked out that I went to her parents home where she was staying on their visit. My son is building their home and had to work, and Roxanne’s carpenter dad was in Colorado helping with the construction project.

It was just Roxanne, our grandbaby, Roxanne’s mom and I.  I packed an overnight bag and had a sleep-over, which gave me extra time with the baby.

After we ate dinner, I read a bedtime story to the busy little boy, put on his pajamas and tucked him in for the night.  He is so adorable and at just nine months is changing so fast.

Then, it was just us girls. We changed into our pajamas, cozied up on the couch, and watched a few episodes of what is now my new favorite baking show. Ever.

One of the things that one of the amazing star bakers did was to create pineapple flowers for her cake.

I thought it looked adorable and so looked up how to do it and found this amazing recipe for hummingbird cake topped with a few of these showstopping fruit flowers.

This is what Martha Stewart says about this crowd pleasing cake.

Rumor has it, this crowd-pleasing cake got its name because every bite makes you hum with delight.

GO TO NEXT PAGE FOR THE INGREDIENTS AND DIRECTIONS.

Quick tip: You can make the pineapple flowers ahead of time. They can be stored at room temperature for two days in an airtight container.
