You Are Never Too Old For a Good Popsicle..Or Running Through The Sprinklers
Being able to cool off in the summer is such a huge deal. The fact that these popsicles have fruit and yogurt in them is a great alternative to ice cream.
When our kids were young we had oodles of popsicle molds around. Recently I saw some super cute molds and am thinking they would be a perfect gift for a summer party along with a few healthy recipes like this one. I might just have to get a few to keep here, you know, to make sure they work! YUM!
Ingredients
- 2 cups Greek style natural yogurt
- 2 large ripe mangoes, flesh only
- 1 small can (165ml) coconut milk
- OPTIONAL -1 tsp cinnamon
- Honey to taste
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a blender and whizz until smooth.
- Pour into your ice pop molds, stick a paddle pop stick in and freeze for at least 3 hours, or until set.
ENJOY!
Quick Tip: If your kids are picky about their fruits, take them to a farmer’s market and let them pick out a few pieces that they would like to try in a popsicle.
