Setting the BAR high for the breakfast rush.

Color of the day is BLUE! As in.. bring on the BLUEBERRIES!

While there may not be a substitute for sitting down to a well-balanced breakfast before heading out the door, it is nice to know that leaving hungry isn’t your families only option.

These breakfast bars are loaded fruit and oats. The flavor is something that you are not going to find wrapped up in a foil packet of commercial breakfast bars. This is the real deal people.
I have a teen who plays football, and those early morning practices can be brutal, so making sure he is fueled up and ready to hit the turf is a big job.

These loaded with fruit bars are great because I know what is in them, plus, I have the option to add some peanut butter powder to increase the protein without adding a bunch of hidden calories. Seriously, if you have never tried adding peanut butter powder to smoothies or cookies it is pretty easy to do and it located in grocery stores next to peanut butter.

If you add a hardboiled egg and a glass of milk, you are really ready to take the world by storm.

This is what Erin of Delightful E Made has to say about her recipe.

Loaded with juicy, ripe blueberries and topped with a brown sugar-oatmeal crumble these Blueberry Oatmeal Breakfast Bars are a delicious way to have breakfast on the run.  Bake up a batch and enjoy fresh out of the pan, or wrap up and store in the freezer for a grab-and-go breakfast.

Quick Tip: Bake up TWO batches and freeze one for later. Who wants to bake all the time!
