Three Ingredients Away from AMAZING!

These make great meatballs for sub sandwiches. Get a bag of hoagie rolls, some cheese slices and other sandwich fixings and you have one heck of a meatball sandwich that you pay some big money for at a high end deli!

Eazy Peazy Grape Jelly Meatballs

Ingredients:

  • 1- 32 Ounce Bag Fully Cooked Frozen Meatballs
  • 2-12 Ounce Bottles Chili Sauce, I use Heinz
  • 1- 32 Ounce Jar Grape Jelly

Directions:

  1. Place the frozen meatballs in the bottom of your slow cooker.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the chili sauce and grape jelly (the mixture will not be completely smooth at this point, that’s fine it will melt down in the slow cooker.)
  3. Pour the sauce over the meatballs and cook on low heat for 3 hours.
  4. Serve with toothpicks as an appetizer,  over rice as a main dish, or as I mentioned in the quick tip above, in a hoagie roll as a submarine sandwich.

Quick Tip: This recipe can easily be cut in half for a smaller crowd, or doubled to feed a larger crowd! This might just be better than take out pizza!
