After making this, I will never go back to my old recipe again. Sorry MOM!

This is one of those recipes that you can modify to fit your families taste. Love zucchini? Add in a thin layer. Love extra garlic? Yep! I see that hand waving! You can use a jar of pasta sauce, but if you LOVE making your own recipe go ahead and apron up. Bake something amazing.

So sorry! Someone else also caught that slip as well and I am so thankful. After you drain the meat, add the pasta sauce and water. Bring to a boil. It is a very soupy pasta sauce, but that is what helps cook the noodles. I just made this for my husband and he could not get over how delicious it was.

I don’t see where you added the water or the ground beef to the lasagna?

You don’t need to buy no boil noodles. the regular ones work fine and no boiling of them either, I just pour a tiny bit of water around the edges and over in foil. The steam will take care of the noodles. Save a step and a pot is what I say.
