What? CHICKEN BACON RANCH CASSEROLE. Impressive.

Try it..You’ll LOVE it!

I just came home after a long day of cooking. I was helping a friend who had recently had a baby get meals put together and in the freezer for later. We had pans of food cooking, simmering, and boiling. I chopped, cut, and assembled. In the end we had several meals that she will only need to pop in the oven and BAM. Dinner!

I wish I had thought to take this recipe along. Being able to cook up enough chicken for several meals and do all the chopping at once really saves time later on!
I usually don’t think to make something with bacon and ranch dressing mix, but I am totally going to have to try this. I think my family will love it and I think yours will too.

Here is what Chungah of Damn Delicious has to say about her innovative chicken recipe

Creamy, cheesy and comforting! Loaded with Ranch chicken, homemade alfredo sauce and bacon. Can be made ahead of time! But let’s be real here. The bacon is always a must, am I right?

Quick Tip: If you want to make this a bit faster, go ahead and buy a rotisserie chicken. No judgement here. I use Costco Rotisserie chicken all the time in my recipes.

I have never seen a 9×9 baking dish. Do you mean 8×8 or 9×11 maybe?

I actually do have a 9X9 pan, but I agree it is probably a bit of an oddball size.. An 8×8 is a bit more standard and would work just as well.

    Seems awfully high in fat.

I was actually thinking the same thing. I am always looking for recipes that start with a good base and then modify them to our family. This is one of those recipes.
