Dump and Bake Pasta Takes 5 Minutes to Put Together!

One of the best things you can do for your kids is to teach them to cook.

When our youngest daughter was in high school her health and nutrition teacher asked the class how many times a week they ate fast food.

The teacher started saying more than 7 times a week and hand raised, then she started counting backwards, each time asking for a show of hands.

Finally, she looked at Amy, whose had was still down and asked if she was not participating.

“No,” Amy replied, “My mom cooks so we rarely eat out.”

It is true.
Not only is it so much cheaper to make food at home, it is so much healthier. But, if you don’t start showing your kids how to fix meals and help them feel comfortable in the kitchen when they are younger, they will not have the confidence they need to take care of themselves when they grow up.

This is a great recipe for you to start them out with. Especially is you use chicken that is already cooked.

This is what Blair from The Seasoned Mon has says about he easy go to recipe.

You get home at the end of the day and the last thing that you feel like dealing with is a complicated supper. You’re tired, your family needs your attention, and there are piles of laundry threatening to take over your house. Heck, you don’t even know what to make for dinner!

Quick Tip: If you are only making a meal for a few people, go ahead and halve this recipe, or make it into two smaller dishes and after they are cooked, let one cool, wrap it in foil , and freeze for later. All you have to do is defrost overnight in fridge and then reheat!
