Sweet Magnolia, This Pie is Anything but a FIXER UPPER!

Joanna Gaines has great taste in more than just finding the right furnishings. This pie is total proof.

I loved watching how Joanna and Chip work together as a team, taking something that is ordinary and often a bit run down and doing something incredible to the point that it doesn’t even seem like the same space they started with.

That is a lot like this recipe. I mean when you have a bunch of lemons, some people look at it as tart and sour fruit, but in the right hands, they are made into something smooth, sweet, and memorable.
A pie that will long be remembered after the last little morsel is savored.

I love that this pie is done in under 20 minutes. I mean who really has all day to spend in the kitchen? Not me! No wonder this is on the Magnolia’s menu.

So the next time you happen to be in the Waco, TX area, feel free to stop into the huge Silo’s that house Chip and Joanna Gaines place of business as well as outdoor gardens and a community center. If you are not going to be in that neck of the woods anytime soon, Don’t panic…You can make this pie right in your own kitchen.

Here is what Christy of The Girl Who Ate Everything had to say about this scrumptious dessert!

I think I might have been the last person in this world to watch the show Fixer Upper with Chip and Joanna Gaines.I gravitated to her easy Lemon Pie. Don’t you love it when someone IS as sweet as they seem?

Quick Tip: If you are in a super big hurry you can always buy a graham cracker crust that is pre-made. No judgment here!
