Get Along Little Doggie..right onto my fork!

I love that this is so easy your kids could make. The next time they want to have a sleepover let them know they need to help with the cooking and cleanup.

This is a great meal that every one will love. And just think, you don’t even need to go the fair to enjoy this.

Chili Dog Biscuit Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 (28 ounce) Can Chili, With or without beans
  • 8 Hot Dogs, Cut into bite sized pieces
  • 1 (16 ounce) Can Refrigerated Biscuit Dough, Like Pillsbury Grands
  • 2 Cups Shredded Cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish lightly with oil or non stick cooking spray, set aside.
  3. Open the biscuits.
  4. Cut each biscuit into quarters and place into a large bowl.
  5. Add the sliced hot dogs, chili, and 1 1/2 cups of the cheese to the biscuits in the bowl.
  6. Stir very well to combine.
  7. Pour mixture into prepared baking dish, and cover with foil.
  8. Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes.
  9. Take the casserole out of the oven and discard the foil. Top with remaining 1/2 Cup of cheese.
  10. Bake uncovered for an additional 20 minutes, until biscuits are cooked through.
    Quick tip: Feel free to freeze sloppy joe mixture, It is a surreal experience to see your kids grow so quickly
