My mom packed the best lunches when I was growing up. There were a lot of things she would put in our bags to make them interesting, but basically it boiled down to the basics. Such as a sandwich, chips, whatever fruit was in season, and a cookie or baked treat.
There were many times that I would open my lunch and see that she had made brownies. Yummo!
