Savory Chive Buttermilk Biscuits: Breakfast Recipe
As much as I love yeast bread, it is a huge time commitment involved unless you happen to already have the dough. Sometimes I forget about how yummy and quick a simple biscuit it. The other thing is I usually associate biscuits with butter and homemade jams and jellies. Having a more savory twist on this classic really makes these functional. In fact I might even mince a clove of garlic and just go wild in the kitchen with these. I used to cut these out with my grandmothers old biscuit cutter, but now I just roll out the dough and cut it into squares. So much faster!
