Making dessert for a crowd?  You will never have to look for another recipe!

My Dad loves treats. The messier the better. So a big banana split with hot fudge sauce, whipped cream, nuts, sprinkles, and lots of bananas on top of ice cream is perfect. If it had a brownie base, well that would be Heaven on Earth!

I remember as a kid going to Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlor for birthdays and special occasions. Sometimes he would take us to Thrifty’s where you could get a triple scoop for only 25 cents. It was always a big deal, and always agonizing to decide which ones we wanted and in what order.

Decisions. Decisions. All those tubs of ice-cream and sherbert.

Being able to serve up several people at once is also a big plus. With the hot fudge sauce drizzled across the top it just adds to the decadence. Don’t forget the cherry.

For those who are not big cake fans, put a birthday candle in this and make a wish!    as in I wish I could have this dessert more often!

I love having great recipes on hand to address different dietary restrictions.

Have you ever hosted an event of had people over and then found out that they weren’t able to eat most of the food you have fixed?

That has happened once or twice to me so I make it a point to always ask if anyone has any food preferences of allergies.

For the most part it isn’t an issue but there have been a few instances where having a recipe on hand to make everyone feel like they belong around your table.

Plus, you know what? Eating a cleaner diet is a good thing so if you come across something that is healthy AND nutritious? What a WIN!

I think this bar pretty much cover is. I have absolutely no idea what  that you can make Flax eggs, and because that is NOT on our lids of foods to avoid I am going to go ahead and use the real thing. Your call on this one!

When they said this was the EASIEST cake ever. I thought they were kidding. I was wrong.

When I was a kid my mom used to make a cherry pineapple dump cake. I loved it so much that when I became a mom I taught my kids how to make it so that when company was coming over they could be in charge of dessert.
Seriously, it really is just dumping ingredients into a pan, and baking. Simple enough for a 6-year-old to make. However, I would use a bit of caution when applying a squirt of whipped topping! Just saying from experience!

However,  the cherry and pineapple combo can be on the sweet side and the cost of a can of cherry pie filling is not the most budget friendly.

I haven’t made that dessert in years but seeing that you can use frozen berries? Now that makes sense and I can’t wait to try it! I also love the fact that there is cream cheese in it. I am sure it will give just the right amount of creaminess.
