Joanna Gaines has great taste in more than just finding the right furnishings. This pie is total proof.

I loved watching how Joanna and Chip work together as a team, taking something that is ordinary and often a bit run down and doing something incredible to the point that it doesn’t even seem like the same space they started with.

That is a lot like this recipe. I mean when you have a bunch of lemons, some people look at it as tart and sour fruit, but in the right hands, they are made into something smooth, sweet, and memorable.
A pie that will long be remembered after the last little morsel is savored.

I love that this pie is done in under 20 minutes. I mean who really has all day to spend in the kitchen? Not me! No wonder this is on the Magnolia’s menu.

So the next time you happen to be in the Waco, TX area, feel free to stop into the huge Silo’s that house Chip and Joanna Gaines place of business as well as outdoor gardens and a community center. If you are not going to be in that neck of the woods anytime soon, Don’t panic…You can make this pie right in your own kitchen.

Here is what Christy of The Girl Who Ate Everything had to say about this scrumptious dessert!

I think I might have been the last person in this world to watch the show Fixer Upper with Chip and Joanna Gaines.I gravitated to her easy Lemon Pie. Don’t you love it when someone IS as sweet as they seem?

GO TO THE NEXT PAGE FOR THE INGREDIENTS AND DIRECTIONS.

Quick Tip: If you are in a super big hurry you can always buy a graham cracker crust that is pre-made. No judgment here!

No fuss, but all the flavor! What an awesome recipe!

The Official National Cheesecake day is actually July 30! So bummed because while I did think ahead in order to be able to celebrate National Lasagna Day, I don’t think I am going to be able to pull off the Cheesecake in time.

Oh well! I guess I will have to just announce that Anyday is cheese cake day!

My mother-in-law has a recipe for a cheesecake that is pretty darned involved. I watched my husband make it once and thought, I can buy one for less than he spent on the ingredients!

At the end of all the stirring and prep time, he took out a bottle of ale or beer and put in a healthy dose. My oldest boys went crazy for it. Me..not so much.

It was heavy and overpowering. One bite and you could feel your arteries begin to harden. It did pretty well in the pie auction, but my vote actually went to a berry concoction.

Seeing that this recipe has lemon in it and the fact that it is a no bake dessert makes me want to start singing!

This is what Ashley of Recipe Rebel has to say about this scrumptious nor fuss dessert!

This No Bake Lemon Cheesecake is possibly my favorite cheesecake ever. It is light and fluffy and creamy and just sweet enough to balance out all that tang from real lemon juice and zest. It is perfection, especially when you load it up with real whipped cream and fresh summer berries.

GO TO THE NEXT PAGE FOR LIST OF INGREDIENTS AND DIRECTIONS.

Quick tip: If you have fresh fruit go ahead and slice some up. This would be amazing with mango or fresh assortment of berries.

The most daunting part of baking pies is making the perfect crust.  Now, you don’t have to!

My mom is the official pie maker in our family. The fillings are always great, but what really sets her apart is her amazing crusts. I don’t know how she does it! They are perfect every single time.

This recipe is like a pie, I mean it has all the elements, except the crust is a no brainer! It isn’t a dough that needs chilled or rolled out. Just crumbs and a few ingredients pressed into the pan.

In fact this whole recipe calls for less than 10 ingredients. Simple and simply delicious. How can you beat that?

There is something light refreshing about citrus. Making this will really cool things down at the first bite.

This is what Marzia of Litle Spice Jar has to say about her incredibly scrumptious recipe for those with a sweet tooth!

Creamy, cool, smooth, and so much flavor. After baking the bars, they need a couple of hours to chill in the refrigerator. This had to be the hardest part of the whole process. I couldn’t wait to dig in to these key lime pie bars. That first bite, it makes it alllllll worth it.

Quick tip: If you have access to limes or lemons, go ahead and juice them, pour juice in ice cube molds and when frozen dump into a large freezer bag. Need juice? Just take as many cubes as you need!

So easy your kids..or grandkids..could make this!

One of the best things you can do is teach your kids how to cook! Seriously, I am amazed at how unprepared young adults are to head out into the world because of their lack of basic life skills.

Teaching kids young how to make simple recipes gives them a sense of confidence and helps to develop other skills as well such as following directions and measuring.

This recipe doesn’t even require any cooking or baking!

So whether you are 6 or 60 you can put this together and be amazed at the response. It really is that good. And not having to heat up the kitchen on a hot summer day? Well, that is Okay with me!

Here is what Julie of Julie’s Eats and Treat has to say about this recipe.

It’s STRAWBERRY season! Can I get a “Heck Ya” from you guys out there? Scream it! Dance it! You know you love it.

GO TO THE NEXT PAGE FOR INGREDIENTS AND DIRECTIONS.

Quick Tip: You can also sub out Cool-whip for real whipped cream. Just a preference but feel free to do whatever you love most!
