I Should Have Made A Double Batch. Seriously, This Pull Apart Was Gone in 5 Seconds

Ok, so here is the deal..sometimes Basil leaves are not always something I have on hand, but I do usually have pesto in a jar, so if you are super desperate, which I happened to be the day I decided on a whim to make these, go ahead and stir some pesto in with the mozzarella cheese.

It all melt together anyway right!

BUBBLE UP PIZZA RECIPE- Pull Apart Cassarole

Ingredients:

  • 1 Roll of Pillsbury Grand Rolls
  • 1 ( 14 oz) Jar of Pizza Sauce
  • 2 Cups of Mozzarella Cheese ( Shredded)
  • 8 – 12 Leaves of Fresh Basil ( chopped)
  • ½ tsp of pepper

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 and lightly grease a casserole dish ( 8×8 work great or even a Bundt Pan!)
  2. Cut each biscuit into 4 pieces
  3. Place all the biscuit pieces into a large bowl
  4. Add sauce, pepper, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, and about
  5. 4 leaves of basil
  6. Mix
  7. Spread mix into the casserole dish sprinkle 1 cup of mozzarella on top and bake for 25 minutes
  8. Sprinkle the rest of the basil before serving.

Quick Tip: If you make this in a Bundt Pan, go ahead and turn it out onto a platter, put a small bowl of marinara sauce near it for extra dipping.
